Islander LX 4.5

This reel is a classic made by Islander and would balance well on spey rods in the 12’6” to 13’6” range (maybe even slightly shorter). It has a drag that can stop the toughest of species and with its large arbor, has plenty of capacity for skagit heads, running line, and backing.

Note: The clutch will eventually need to be replaced.

Thomas and Thomas DNA Spey XF - 13’ 3” 9wt (SOLD)

The XF rod is from T&T’s spey line - it is designed primarily for fishing with Scandi style lines or shooting heads, and have a crisp, sharp feel perfect for throwing tight loops with touch-and-go casts. This rod is unused (plastic stil on cork) and comes with the original warranty card, T&T rod tube, and rod cloth.

Thomas and Thomas DNA Switch - 10’ 7wt (SOLD)

The rod from T&T offers medium fast action and the versatility of these rods cannot be overstated — every style of casting from single handed, single handed spey, two handed overhead, traditional spey and sustained anchor styles can be accommodated. This rod is in great condition and includes a rod tube (not original) and original rod cloth.

T&T DNA Spey XF 13'3" 9 wt

Sage One Switch - 11’ 6” 7wt (Traded)

This line was released by Sage in 2012 and leveraged the Konnetic™ technology, which made them lighter weight with a decidedly thinner profile when compared to traditional rods. This rod is used with slightly coloring on the cork but the blank and ferrules are in good shape. It comes with the original tube and rod cloth.
